Staff locked in room as hooded gang try to steal safe in Dudley

Police are appealing for help in tracing a hooded gang who attacked and locked staff in a room at a Dudley store.

The three men forced staff to lock themselves in a room as they tried to break into the store's safe.

The terrifying ordeal unfolded in the One Stop Store, in Bourne Street, Roseville, at around 6.05am on March 3.

West Midlands Police has now released images of the three hooded men they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

A spokesman for the force said: "Do you recognise these men? We are appealing for information after three men attacked staff in the One Stop Store, on Bourne Street, in Roseville, Dudley, on March 3.

"They entered the store around 6.05am and forced staff to lock themselves in a room while they tried to open a safe.

"Fortunately, they were unsuccessful and left the store empty handed."

Anyone who recognises the trio is asked to call West Midlands Police on 101, quoting incident number 20DY/52751B/19.

Alternatively, witnesses can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
