Two officers assaulted in Quarry Bank
Two police officers have been assaulted after tending to a distressed woman in Quarry Bank.

Officers were called to High Street at 8.15am on Tuesday.
The officers took the 23-year-old home where she physically attacked them.
The pair suffered minor injuries, with one officer suffering a cut to her hand and the other sustaining grazes to both hands.
An officer also had their glasses broken in the attack.
The woman has since been released under investigation, West Midlands Police has said.
