Police have said they are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with the death of a 48-year-old man in Netherton earlier this week - and have said it is being treated as unexplained.

Officers arrived at a property in Hockley Lane on Sunday morning, where the man was discovered to have suffered a cardiac arrest.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said yesterday (Tues): "A 20-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been released with no further action.

"Police are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with his death which is unexplained at the stage and we continue to work closely with the coroner's office.

"We believe this to be an isolated incident."

Anyone with information can still call police on 101.
