Appeal as phone stolen in attempted carjacking

Three masked men took a woman's phone during an attempted carjacking.

The woman, who had her phone taken from her car in Bilston Street, Sedgley, drove off unhurt at around 10pm on Sunday.

A man, who was sitting in his car in nearby Beacon Lane, was approached by two men in a separate incident.

He suffered minor injuries after being assaulted but managed to drive away.

Officers from West Midlands Police are investigating whether the two incidents are linked.
