Man pushed to ground during Wolverhampton street robbery

A man was knocked to the ground by two thieves who made off with his car keys.

The victim was assaulted by the two men in hoodies in Johnson Street, Woodcross, in Wolverhampton.

The robbery happened at around 10.30pm on Sunday .

The man, aged in his 50s, was left with a wrist injury,.

West Midlands Police is now investigating the incident.

A spokesman said: "The offenders fled after being disturbed and CCTV enquiries are under way." Anyone with information is urged to contact West Midlands Police on 101 anytime.
