Woman threatened with machete during attempted car-jacking

A woman was threatened with a machete during an attempted car-jacking near to her home in Stourbridge.

The woman escaped and was followed into her house on Stevens Road, Pedmore, by the masked men at 3pm on Monday.

The men escaped on a red and black scooter after being scared away.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "It is believed a woman was threatened with a machete, before running into her house where she was followed by two masked men.

"The men were challenged by the homeowner before they fled empty handed on a red and black scooter.

"The victims suffered minor injuries during the confrontation and were treated at the scene."
