Arrest after man suffers life-changing injuries in Halesowen stabbing

A man suffered potentially life-changing injuries in a stabbing at a Halesowen block of flats.

Police have launched an investigation

The 31-year-old victim was found with multiple stab wounds at the flats in Ankerdine Court at around 6.40am.

Police arrested a man on suspicion of wounding with intent. He was subsequently bailed while the investigation continues.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to hospital. Police said his injuries are thought to be life-changing but not life-threatening.

Officers are carrying out house-to-house inquiries at the scene and will be scouring CCTV.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information as they try to piece together what happened.
