The suspect is described as white, 6ft tall, and of a medium build. He was wearing a black cap, waterproof jacket and dark jeans.

He left the location in a black 4x4, possibly a Nissan Navara, driven by a second white man.

Police would like to remind the public to never allow any unsolicited visitors into their home, or agree to works being completed by doorstep traders.

Local residents are encouraged to contact the police immediately if they have any suspicions about doorstep callers.
