Arrest after Land Rover stolen in Cannock
A man was arrested after a Land Rover was stolen in Cannock.
Police carried out an extensive search after the theft in the Hatherton area was reported around 4.20am.
After working with the Central Motorway Police Group, officers managed to find the suspect around an hour later – but the 27-year-old then escaped on foot.
He was found again after another search.
The man from Cannock was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and dangerous driving and remains in custody.
