Police are on the trail of the man who hopped off from the house - despite having a suspected broken leg.

CCTV captures the man, alongside three others, at the attempted burglary at a house in Ridge Road, Kingswinford, last Wednesday.

He is filmed along with the group using a drill to successfully snap open a PVC lock at 11.35pm.

But the group were disturbed and fled down Kingsley Road.

WATCH: Do you know these men?

The homeowners reported the incident to police just before 1am and it quickly became apparent that one of the suspects had a somewhat unusual feature.

The man is believed to be wearing a boot on his foot usually worn to aid recovery after a leg injury or break.

Police today appealed for anyone who spotted the group to help their investigation.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "Do you recognise any of the people in the footage? Perhaps you know someone who’s been wearing a foot brace recently? If you think you have information which could help progress this query please get in touch."

Anyone with information can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers UK on 0800 555 111 quoting crime number 20DY/2711824D/18.
