Machetes and knuckle dusters were also found in the white Seat Leon after it was stopped on the A43 between Stafford and Stone at about 2.15pm on Thursday.

The road was closed while a search was carried out and a suspected drugs package was found.

A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy from Oldbury were arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply and possession of offensive weapons.

The suspects remain in police custody and inquiries are ongoing.
