Daniel Conrad Henry, 29, was arrested after he drove to Shrewsbury armed with a supply 'kit' containing a contact list of more than 50 potential customers, two mobile phones and more than 30 wraps of Class A substances in May.

When he was rumbled by police Henry tried to destroy the evidence by hurling the phone sim card and some of the drugs into the River Severn.

Henry, of Glenworth Gardens, Whitmore Reans, admitted possession of cocaine, and possession with intent to supply cocaine and heroin.

He was jailed for three years and four months at Shrewsbury Crown Court in June and must serve half the term before being released on licence.

The court heard he had benefited to the tune of £2,157.94 from the activity and he had assets totalling £1,831.94 relating to his car valued at £1,500 and cash seized from him when he was arrested.

Mr Anthony Longworth, prosecuting, said Henry's family had since sold the Vauxhall Astra which had not been confiscated.

Henry was ordered to pay up within three months under the Proceeds of Crimne Act or serve six weeks in custody in default.
