Detectives are investigating after reports of 'disorder' in High Street, Dale End, shortly before 5.45pm on Tuesday.

West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman Murray MacGregor said medics responded to three different locations nearby.

One man suffered 'serious injuries', while the others were in better conditions, and all were taken to hospital.

"Three ambulances, two paramedic officers, the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car, the MERIT Trauma doctor and four other BASICS Emergency Doctors were immediately mobilised," Mr MacGregor added.

"However, on arrival, a number of those resources were stood down as the injuries were not as serious as first thought.

"The men were treated at each of the three locations. All three were taken to hospital."

Police have been examining CCTV and have asked witnesses or anyone with video footage of the incident to get in touch.

Anyone with information should contact West Midlands Police on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
