Police on hunt for Wolverhampton machete attacker

Police are hunting a machete-wielding man after an attack in Wolverhampton left his victim wounded.

The offender left a 54-year-old man with a leg wound after the incident in All Saints Road on Thursday.

Police were called to the street at about 5.30pm but the attacker had fled the scene.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "The male attacker fled and enquiries are ongoing to trace him."

The victim's injuries were not serious, he added.
