The Premier League centre-half has been a rock at the back for the Molineux men and had expected to enjoy a hard earned rest during the international break.

But the 28-year-old opened his curtains on Sunday morning to see thieves had taken all four of the wheels to his expensive BMW X5.

Bennett revealed he had been victim to the theft on social media in a desperate plea to the public in hope of getting them back.

He shared pictures of the wheel-less 4x4 on Twitter and asked anyone who gets offered similar wheels to get in touch.

He said: "Nice to wake up and see some scumbag has came and taken all my wheels! Anyone gets offered four [BMW] X5 wheels with Dunlop tyres let me know!

“There was locking wheel nuts on it.”

Bennett, who joined Nuno Espirito Santo's side before the beginning of last season, was an instrumental part of the title-winning side last year.

And in Wolves' opening four games of the Premier League campaign, the Wanderers ace has put in a number of top draw performances for the Black Country outfit, including a 1-0 win against West Ham a week ago.

Wolves next face Burnley in the league at Molineux on Sunday.
