Man who died in fall from roof is named

A man who fell to his death from the roof of an industrial unit has been named.

Maciej Rozanksi suffered a cardiac arrest after falling from the building in Deepdale Lane, Lower Gornal, on June 29.

The 42-year-old local man was pronounced dead at the scene.

An inquest was opened at the Black Country Coroners Court in Oldbury on July 24. It will resume on September 24.

The Health and Safety Executive was informed of the incident.

This week, a spokesman said: “HSE continues to work alongside and support the police who have primacy of the investigation.”
