Police search for bogus caller posing as BT worker

Police are searching for a man who allegedly posed as a BT worker to steal from an elderly lady.

These images have been released by West Midlands Police

Raza Rafiq, aged 39, is wanted on suspicion of distraction burglary after he posed as a BT employee to fraudulently obtain money from an elderly woman on July 23 in Birchills, Walsall.

Rafiq, is of no fixed address but has links to the Birchills and Alumwell areas.

The image on the left was taken earlier this year but officers believe he currently looks more like the image on the right which was taken in 2014.
