Two men charged with murdering Kevin Shepperson at his Walsall flat

Two Walsall men have been charged murdering 39-year-old Kevin Shepperson from Willenhall.

Cameron MacKenzie, of Richmond Street, Chuckery, and Wayne Kendall, of Bloxwich Road South, Willenhall, both aged 21, have been remanded in custody to appear at Walsall Magistrates Court tomorrow.

The pair were arrested after Mr Shepperson was discovered dead at his flat in Bloxwich Road South just before 12.30pm last Wednesday.

He was found in the hallway of the third-floor flat, and the front door to the property is understood to have been open when a horrified friend found him.

A post mortem examination revealed he died as a result of multiple injuries.

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Joyce, from the force’s homicide team, said: "This is a significant step in the investigation but our enquiries do not end here.

"We are still keen to hear from anyone who may have information which can assist us.

"What you may believe is insignificant could have real relevance so please come forward and speak to us."
