The group of masked men, who were believed to be armed with screwdrivers, entered the Aldi store, in Bearwood Road, and stole cash from a security worker.

A woman outside the shop was assaulted during a failed attempt to take her car as the men tried to flee the scene. She suffered minor hand injuries.

The men are then believed to have escaped in a white Ford Focus.

The robbery took place just after 11am today.
