Man seriously injured after attack near Kingswinford pub

A man was taken to hospital with serious head injuries after being attacked near a pub in Kingswinford.

Police, paramedics and Midlands Air Ambulance were called to Cot Lane on Sunday afternoon.

A man, aged in his 40s, was discovered injured near the Mount Pleasant pub.

He was taken to hospital via land ambulance and remains in a serious but stable condition.

The incident happened at about 4.50pm.

Two men, aged 31 and 23, have been arrested on suspicion of assault and remain in custody for police questioning.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101; quoting log number 1951 of June 3.
