A litter lout has been fined £829 for dropping cigarette butts in Church Street, Cannock, and failing to pay.

Sean Townley from Glascote, Tamworth, was issued with two fixed penalty notices but failed to pay.
He did not show up to Newcastle Magistrates Court and was found guilty in his absence.
