Two further men charged in Dudley murder investigation

Two further men have been charged as part of an investigation into the murder of a man found stabbed in a Dudley flat.

Jaskaran Kang, aged 24, from Handsworth, was found fatally stabbed at a flat on Stourbridge Road, on January 6.

Police said Joshua Campbell, 18, from King Edmond Street, Dudley, has been charged with murder and conspiracy to commit robbery.

And Tyrone Johnson, 21, from Malthouse Drive, Dudley, has also been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

Both men were remanded in police custody and were due to appear before Dudley Magistrates' Court on Friday.

The development comes after three earlier arrests during the investigation.

Reggie Salmon, 20, from Stourbridge Road, Dudley, Dontay Ellis, 18, from Central Drive, Lower Gornal, and a 17-year-old boy from Newcastle-Under-Lyme, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have been remanded in custody.

They appeared before Wolverhampton Crown Court on January 17 charged with Mr Kang’s murder.

Police are continuing to appeal for information and are urging anyone to call 101 giving log number 243 of 6 January.
