Arrest after police use stinger to stop car driving wrong way on M54
A man has been arrested after police deployed a stinger to stop a car driving down the M54 in the wrong direction.
Police were called out on Thursday evening to reports of a car being driven in the wrong direction down both the M54 and the A5 in Shropshire.
Officers deployed a stinger to stop the vehicle.
A man was questioned and arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and being over the drink drive limit.
