Two charged in connection with knifepoint robbery in WIllenhall

Two youths have been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged knifepoint robbery in Willenhall.

West Midlands Police stated a 17-year-old boy had his bag stolen, was threatened with a knife and was punched as he walked in an alleyway between Heath Road and Stretton Road at 3.20pm on Monday, December 4.

The force confirmed two teenagers, both from Willenhall, were arrested at their home addresses at 1pm on Wednesday, December 6.

One of them, aged 17, was charged with robbery while the other, aged 16, was charged with robbery and possessing a knife in public.

Their names cannot be published because of their age.

They will appear at Wolverhampton Youth Court On Wednesday, December 20.
