Police step up patrols around precinct and park after rise in anti-social behaviour in Wolverhampton

Police are stepping up patrols along a popular shopping precinct and city park after an increase in reports of anti-social behaviour.

Officers from the Bushbury neighbourhood police team are stepping up their patrols of Northwood Park and The Broadway shopping precinct.

Police are increasing their patrols of the area after residents reported groups of youths congregating in the area and causing a nuisance to residents and business owners.

Reports of anti-social behaviour in the area has seen the police install a domehawk camera to try and identify those responsible.

In a statement in the Bushbury neighbourhood police team newsletter for November, it said: "The team has seen an increase in reports of anti-social behaviour in Northwood Park and also at the Broadway shops.

"The team have increased patrols at the location in an attempt to identify the youths responsible for causing a nuisance to park users and business owners.

"A Domehawk camera has been placed at the location to assist in the identification of those responsible."
