Peter Fenlon pleaded guilty at Wolverhampton Crown Court yesterday to producing a poor standard of work while at the address in Canterbury Road, Penn, between April 2014, and January 2015.

The 55-year-old, of Simmonds Road, Ashmore Park, accepted that the work took far longer than had been anticipated.

He further acknowledged that, in a number of ‘significant respects,’ some of the work was not carried out with the standard of skill and care that the occupiers were entitled to expect.

Fenlon was remanded on bail until October 10.
