Three boys charged as Stafford violence leaves two seriously injured

Three teenagers and a man have been charged after a violent incident where two men received serious head injuries.

Staffordshire Police were called to Edison Road in Stafford after reports of two men having received serious head injuries at around 11:30pm on Saturday.

Officers attended and arrested five people in total, while the two injured men were taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital.

Daniel Angus, 36, from Edison Road in Stafford, was charged with violent disorder as were three 16-year-old boys - two from Stafford and one from Wolverhampton.

A 16-year-old girl who was arrested for violent disorder was released under investigation.

Meanwhile a 23-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent, identified at the scene as wanted for failing to appear for a warrant, was also arrested.

Those charged were due to appear in Cannock Magistrates Court today.
