Benjamin Hassan admitted charges of kidnap and assault in 2014, as well as a separate charge of possessing cannabis.

The 38-year-old, formerly of Bloxwich Road South, Willenhall, was sentenced to 45 months behind bars in August that year.

He is still serving part of that term out on licence but now West Midlands Police has recalled him back to prison for poor behaviour.

In October 2013, Hassan had held an 18-year-old woman captive demanding to know the whereabouts of her partner.

He threatened her and then forced the woman and a 13-year-old girl who was with her into a taxi demanding to be taken to her boyfriend.

When they arrived Hassan punched and kicked the man repeatedly in an apparent row over an unpaid electricity bill.

A force spokeswoman said: "Benjamin John Hassan is wanted on recall to prison. Do you know his whereabouts?

"Anybody with information is urged to contact PC Williams on 101 ext 899 3030."
