Crimestoppers is offering the reward for information which leads to the arrest of Robert Gilheaney, who is wanted on recall to prison after allegedly failing to comply with the terms of his licence.

The 26-year-old, who is known to have links to Loughborough in Leicestershire, was released from jail in December 2015.

He was serving an 82 month prison sentence for aggravated burglary in Nottinghamshire where he sprayed his victim in the face with an ammonia-based fluid, causing burns and partial blindness.

Pauline Hadley, West Midlands Regional Manager, said Gilheaney had an extensive history of offences including burglary, shoplifting and criminal damage.

“Robert Gilheaney is a prolific and violent offender which is why we are offering a reward for information that leads to his arrest," she said. “We just want to know your information, not who you are. So please, contact us anonymously.”

Anyone with any information can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through the website crimestoppers-uk.org

*Note: This reward will only qualify if information is passed to Crimestoppers’ 0800 555 111 number or anonymous online form at crimestoppers-uk.org. Information passed directly to police will not qualify.
