Crooks wearing balaclavas forced their way into the branch in Vicar Street, Kidderminster, at around 3am yesterday.

Police said a large quantity of cigarettes were taken from behind the counter and that a man was seen fleeing in a dark blue BMW M3 heading towards Worcester Street.

West Mercia Police has appealed for anyone with information to call 101.

Sergeant David King said: "We would like to hear from anyone else who might have been within the area at the time, and who has yet to come forward.

"We especially would like to hear from anyone who might have seen the described vehicle within the area prior to the incident, or seen person inside acting suspiciously."
