Several reports have been made to police about yobs gathering around the bird hide at Doxey Marshes in Stafford, leaving litter, small gas cannisters and smashed bottles.

PCSO Helen Walker said: "Staffordshire Wildlife Trust are keen to stop this behaviour and prevent further issues. "Local PCSOs patrol this area regularly but we urge local residents, dog walkers and anyone using Doxey Marshes to report any suspicious behaviour to the Police by calling 101.

"We are keen to identify those responsible. Staffordshire Police takes Anti Social Behaviour very seriously and persons found causing anti social behaviour will be dealt with positively."
