Man knocked unconscious outside theatre

Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted and kicked until he was unconscious.

The incident happened at 3.40am on June 3 at Church Street, by the ramp to the back of the Prince of Wales Theatre which leads out onto the main road.

A man was assaulted by two men and received head injuries.

During the assault, the man fell to the ground and was kicked to the point where he lost consciousness.

The two offenders are described as white males, one of whom is described as being mid to late 30’s, 5ft 8in – 5ft 9in tall, wearing a white polo shirt and blue jeans.
