Hunt for vehicle as teenager stabbed after Wolverhampton crash

A teenager was stabbed in the leg and chest after a car crash in Wolverhampton - with police appealing for help to find one of the vehicles.

The 19-year-old was taken to hospital following the incident in Knights Avenue, Tettenhall, on Friday night.

His injuries are not life-threatening and he remains in hospital in a stable condition.

The stabbing followed a two-vehicle crash nearby.

One of the cars involved has been recovered and has been sent for forensic examination but the other vehicle, believed to be a blue Vauxhall Corsa, is missing.

Officers are appealing to trace the whereabouts of this vehicle.

They believe it suffered extensive damage as a result of the collision.

Two men, aged 19 and 21, were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder in connection with the incident. They have since been released pending further investigation.
