Knife thugs rob autistic man on number 74 bus

An autistic man was robbed at knifepoint on board a Black Country bus, sparking an appeal from police.

The victim was assaulted on the number 74 bus between Dudley and Great Bridge.

The 22-year-old victim boarded the bus in Castle Street, Dudley just outside Dudley Zoo and went to sit upstairs.

He was approached by the men and attacked. They took his cap and tried to steal his phone.

The victim was threatened with a knife as he tried to get away and was followed downstairs to the lower deck.

He managed to leave the bus outside Pure Gym Tipton/Dudley Port.

It happened at around 4.15pm on November 12 and CCTV pictures of three men suspected of involvement were released today.
