A 39-year-old Birmingham man was arrested last night after a 38-year-old man died at the Internet Cafe on Cape Hill on Saturday.

A post mortem was carried out yesterday and revealed that the man, who is yet to be formally identified, died as a result of a single stab wound.

He was pronounced dead at the scene after police were called to the Internet Cafe by the ambulance service at around 12.50pm on Saturday.

Later on Saturday a second unrelated stabbing left a 20-year-old man in a serious condition. The second attack took place outside Farm Foods, just 100 yards away from the Internet Cafe, at around 9.20pm.

A forensic tent was erected outside Farm Foods, while the Internet Cafe also remained sealed off.

Detectives continue to investigate and anyone with information should contact police on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
