Halesowen motorists flouting 40mph speed limit
Motorists on a busy dual carriageway in Halesowen have been clocked travelling at more than double the speed limit by police officers during a crackdown on dangerous driving.
Residents have demanded action from police to tackle speeding traffic along the A456 Manor Way, close to the Sandvik steel plant.
Officers today said they are now investigating cars that had hit speeds of up to 85 mph on the route that is a 40mph zone close to the Grange Hill island.
