Rugeley-based Todd has worked with Inchcape in the past, installing several external spray booths.

The new works will see Todd Engineering, of Gregory Works, Armitage Road, installing equipment in dealerships across the UK, including prestige brands Mercedes Benz, Porsche, BMW, Audi and Volkswagen. This mammoth project will commence in February and spread across the first half of the year.

The Nemesis spraybooth represents cutting-edge innovation and design for bodyshops wanting to dramatically increase productivity while reducing vehicle movements, paint product expenditure, key-to-key times and energy consumption.

The Nemesis range for Inchcape will be configured as an external two-bay operation, allowing a full repair process to be undertaken with the facility including preparation booth, wheel alloy repair station, spray booth and paint mixing room.

The entire project is one of the biggest Todd Engineering has achieved over the last couple of years.

During 2020 Todd Engineering managed to stay open for the entire year, at times only working with a skeleton staff.

The business looks to projects such as the Inchcape deal to help growth in 2021 and welcoming back all the team as it returned to full capacity.
