The council is holding a digital event at 11am on Friday that also marks the start of its campaign leading up the 2021 MIPIM (Marche International des Professionnels de L’immobilier) campaign. MPIPIM in Cannes attracts real estate investors from all over the world and the council will be outlining development and regeneration projects it will showcase there.

Director of regeneration and enterprise Helen Martin will be highlighting the opportunities.

The 2020 MIPIM was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic and the 2021exhibition is due to take place from March 16 to 19.

Councillor Patrick Harley, leader of the council, said: “Despite the recent turn in events, there is still unprecedented levels of forthcoming investment opportunities in the borough over the next decade. This is Dudley’s time to build, connect and grow. We are going to make our borough an even greater place to live, work and enjoy leisure time and we are looking forward to sharing this at the business festival.”

Dudley also supports the Black Country Business Festival as a partner and the ‘Time is Now’ event is part of a 100-strong programme taking place over nine days to October 15.

The event is completely free to attend but tickets must be booked in advance via the business festival website www.blackcountrybuinessfestival.com
