DRPG invests with acquisition of Firehouse

Creative communications group DRPG has bought Firehouse, the London-based agency.

The acquisition adds diversity to the client base of Hartlebury-based DRPG and increasing the number employed to 340 across the UK, Ireland, Germany and the United States.

Firehouse are specialists providing communication solutions from film and video production and digital servicing to clients such as Kingfisher, B&Q, RBS, O2 and Shell. It has a team of 10 people.

Mike Harper, managing director at Firehouse, said: "Joining DRPG opens up a host of opportunities for Firehouse, DRPG and our combined client list. We are committed to the growth of Firehouse as part of the wider group and cannot wait for the exciting journey ahead."

DRPG is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. The group creates and delivers integrated communications solutions for an industry wide range of clients and brands.
