The business has been instructed to let commercial space on the Autobase Industrial Estate on Tipton Road, Tividale, which is a base for occupiers including Rhys Davis Transport and Barrett Steel Tubes.

Neil Slade, director in the agency team, said: “This is a popular multi-let estate extending to over 500,000 sq ft with excellent access links courtesy of its close proximity to the M5 with junctions 1 and 2 just three miles distant.

“In light of the high levels of demand for industrial space within this region, which far outstrips supply, the owners of Autobase, Hansteen Holdings, have committed to investing significant sums into an extensive refurbishment at the park to include recladding, overcladding roofs, providing new yard space and new elevations to the void units at the site.

“Amongst those units being upscaled are a 76,000 sq ft warehouse, which is one of the largest in the area and a 25,000 sq ft building, both of which are expected to see high levels of demand.

“Good quality stock throughout the region is being snapped quickly and by refurbishing second-hand stock to meet the need in the Black Country we are confident that the estate will quickly reach full capacity,” he added.

Unit 9 is a 76,000 sq ft property provides high bay (near 10 metres) eaves height, large enclosed yard and is fully refurbished ready for immediate occupation, with Unit 14 providing an extensive gated yard and also ready for occupation following completion of landlord works.
