Over the past 12 months Marston’s has invested significantly in its apprenticeship scheme, providing a wide range of opportunities within the hospitality, engineering and logistics sectors. The scheme helps create industry skilled specialists for the future and has more than 500 apprentices already on board.

“We are tremendously proud of our apprentices and their achievements, and are delighted that our work has been recognised by the National Apprentice Service with this prestigious award. We are excited to see what the future holds for our apprentices and we will continue to work closely with schools, colleges and youth groups to ensure people understand the value of apprenticeships and are aware of the great opportunities here at Marston’s!” Said Catherine Taylor, group people director at Marston’s.

The awards take place annually and are hosted by the National Apprenticeship Service which celebrates the work of apprentices and employers. It provides an opportunity fo companies to come together and showcase how apprenticeships have had a true effect on their business and how in turn they have helped forge careers.

The final stage of the awards will take place in November, when the national winners will be unveiled. The judging panel will select only one winner and one highly commended in each category and the Marston's team are keeping their fingers crossed the company will take the stage once again.
