Black Country Chamber awards launched
The Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards 2018 were officially launched today.
There are 10 categories to apply for this year and the chamber is working with the British Chambers of Commerce so that businesses who apply for particular categories will also be entered into the regional and national awards.
The deadline to apply is 12 midnight on June 29.
Categories are best use of technology, customer commitment, education and business partnership, excellence in manufacturing and engineering, export business, small business, social impact champion, start-up award, workplace wellbeing and young person or apprentice of the year
Businesses can apply for more than one award category and the awards are open to all members of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce for free and to non-members at a fee.
There will also be an overall chamber business of the year selected from all the entries.
Finalists in each category will be announced in September with the winners to be announced at the awards dinner in November.
