Caroline Phipps, head of school at Timbertree Academy in Cradley Heath, said: “We are really grateful for this donation from Homescapes for our fete. It’s always nice to have support from local companies and we look forward to working with them in the future, helping to support the curriculum.”

Timbertree Academy is located in Valley Road, just one mile from Homescapes’ manufacturing and distribution centre on Corngreaves Trading Estate. It's summer fete is taking place on July 6.

Vikram Avasthi, Homescapes’ managing director, said: “We are keen to forge links with the local community and were more than happy to donate items for the raffle at Timbertree’s Summer Fete.

“What many people don’t realise is that, with over 90 styles, we manufacture and retail one of the best possible pillow selections in the UK, offer one of the biggest selections of artificial plants in the UK, and we’re located right here in Cradley on their doorstep."

Homescapes manufactures, imports and distributes top quality hardwood furniture, bed and kitchen linen, pillows and soft furnishings. The company supplies department stores, top hotels and the public across the UK and Europe and has its products in over one million households.
