As part of an expansion covering much of the UK plus residences in Germany and Spain, Liberty Living added the 657-bed property in Culwell Street to its portfolio, rebranding it as Liberty Heights.

Rooms start at £80.50 per week for a 51-week contract, with the building located just half a mile’s walk from the University of Wolverhampton and under two miles from the City of Wolverhampton College.

It has a mix of three, four and five-bedroom flats and has its own gym and satellite/Freeview TV in common areas. It is covered by CCTV and 24/7 security and has an electronic entry system.

Paul Watson, operations and sales director of Liberty Living, said: “Liberty Living are committed to expansion via the acquisition of established, high-quality student accommodation – and this property certainly fits the bill.

“We’re delighted to gain a presence in Wolverhampton and to provide safe, comfortable, and great value living spaces for students studying in the city.”

Liberty Living is the second largest student accommodation provider in the United Kingdom, and is one of the longest-standing and most highly regarded owner/operators in the sector.

Established in 1999, it was acquired by the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board in March 2015 as a vehicle for further expansion.

Including the Union State portfolio acquisition, Liberty Living owns and manages approximately 25,000 beds in 21 cities across the UK, Germany, and Spain.
