A special free event looking at sustainable fashion is being held in Wolverhampton.

University of Wolverhampton's EnTRESS (Environmental Technologies and Resource Efficiency Support Service) project is organising the Wearing out Waste! event on July 12 from 9am to 12 noon in the George Wallis Building at the School of Art.

There will be a series of talks and exhibitions around a sustainable textile industry.

Subjects to be covered including reducing waste fabric and the chemicals that are produced at nearly every stage of manufacture.
