Marina aims to host more business events
A corporate open day is being held on October 24 at Aston Marina, near Stone, to show off its Boat House venue to the local business community.
The purpose-built Boat House is suitable for a range of corporate events from seminars and launches to office parties, awards ceremonies and charity fundraisers.
Guests will have the chance to sample the marina’s food which is created by the venue’s head chef.
Director Helen Webb said: “In the three years since it has been built, The Boat House has become really established as a wedding and events venue. We have a number of loyal business customers who use the venue for lots of different events throughout the year, and we’re keen for other local businesses to discover what The Boat House can offer.”

The Boat House is also licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies. The marina also offers moorings on the Trent and Mersey Canal, a purpose-built, twin-bay boat workshop and a small chandlery on site.
