Law firm FBC Manby Bowdler will host the event at its office in George Street, Snow Hill, on August 15 from 12.45pm to 2pm. It is open to anyone who has to deal with employees at any level, from experienced in-house human resources managers to those with no HR experience.

Lawyers from the firm’s employment team will be on hand to answer any questions and there will be a light lunch served.

Employment Partner Tracy Worthington said: “The HR Lunch Club is the ideal forum for HR professionals of all levels who want to discuss the topics at the forefront of employment law.

“We will be looking at the newly published ACAS guides on suspensions and overtime to share best practice as well as looking at how to calculate dates of dismissal and how the National Minimum Wage relates to sleep-in workers.

“The HR Lunch Club is open to people working in any sector and is an informal and informative way to bring yourself up to speed on the latest developments in employment law.”
