Meeting to discuss women's input

Capturing diversity of talent and increasing skills and productivity to ensure the future success of the regional economy will be the focus of a business meeting at the University of Wolverhampton.

The West Midlands Women’s Voice breakfast meeting will take place in the Chancellor’s Hall on Thursday, February 8 from 8am to 30am.

WMWV supports the West Midlands Combined Authority in setting an agenda for economic growth and better social welfare – with the role of women central to this new political and economic forum.

The event will feature insights from Deborah Cadman, chief executive of the WMCA, who will discuss the importance of skills to meet the West Midland economic growth plans.

Julie Nugent, newly appointed director of skills and pProductivity at the WMCA will share her skills agenda and how WMWV can actively collaborate.

Deputy Vice Chancellor (access and lifelong learning) at the University of Wolverhampton, Jackie Dunne, will share her experiences and the relevance of learning at all stages of life and the difference that can particularly make to women.

The event will also feature Minaho Shiraishi, Tax Partner and Partner Sponsor of KPMG Network of Women, who will discuss how global brand KPMG are practically ensuring they have diversity at the very top.
