Former cleaner’s storeroom listed for auction with £1 guide price
A tiny former cleaner’s storeroom has been listed for auction with a guide price of just £1.
The long leasehold on the building, next to 38 Dingle Lane, Solihull, is available to buy in the next sale hosted by Bond Wolfe Auctions.

The empty property comprises a ground floor only with a sink, a cupboard and a toilet.
Craig Upton, marketing director at Bond Wolfe, said: “This is an unusual property that used to be the storeroom and operating base for a cleaner of various adjacent properties.
“It’s now vacant, but might be an interesting place to develop for various uses, subject to planning permission.”

The storeroom comes with a new lease term for 125 years which is subject to ground rent of £150 per annum for the first 25 years, rising by £50 every 25 years, plus a service charge of around £389.98 per annum.
The property will be among scores of lots featuring in Bond Wolfe’s next auction on Thursday May 15, starting at 8.30am.
The sale will be livestreamed via Bond Wolfe’s website with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet.
