Organisers have extended a deadline for entries into a West Midlands leadership awards ceremony due to demand.

The annual BusinessDesk West Midlands Leadership Awards are set to be held in Birmingham in March 2025.

The original deadline for nominations into 20 different categories was due to end on Friday (November 8), but has now been extended to this Friday (November 15) with organisers citing "demand" as the reason for pushing back the deadline.

The awards seek to recognise business leaders who are role models within their organisations and raise the bar for their competitors. The winners will show the qualities of extraordinary leadership and be able to demonstrate the positive impact this has had.

Three new categories are up for grabs this year, set to recognise industry leaders in the manufacturing, catering and hospitality sectors.

Shortlists will be announced in January for the event, which is set to be held on Thursday, March 13 at the Macdonald Burlington Hotel in Birmingham city centre.

Entry is free, and forms are available from the event's website at leadershipawards.uk
